Let's start with this comment from my young son, "This is my favourite restaurant ever!" Loved everything we ordered -- Balsamic Mozzarella, Penne Bolognese, Americano Pizza, Mushroom Truffle Steak with Pesto Gnocchi. It's hard to choose a fave. Everything was prepared very well and with great attention to detail. Service is fast and amazing. Kez is great! She's attentive, friendly and accommodating. Shout out to Mackenzie too! Manager was super helpful too! If there's one con to share, it's quite loud at the restaurant and difficult to have conversations. Would definitely come back, how can I not?!
While the food was absolutely delicious (highly recommend the mushroom malfade), the real star of the evening was our server, Stephanie. From the moment we were seated, she made us feel genuinely welcome with her warm smile, upbeat demeanour, and positivity! She anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, refilled drinks without prompting, and offered thoughtful recommendations that perfectly suited our tastes. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and you could tell she truly cared about ensuring we had the best possible experience. Beyond her professionalism, Stephanie brought such a kind radiance to the table. She was friendly and very engaging. Even though the restaurant was busy, she never seemed rushed and always made time to check in on us with sincerity. She also surprised us with a chocolate brownie (with an awesome sparkler) for our anniversary!! Great food is important, but service like Stephanie’s turns a good meal into an unforgettable experience. She is an absolute gem, and I highly recommend asking for her if you want a truly outstanding dining experience. We’ll definitely be returning soon—thanks again, Stephanie!
First time eating at Scaddabush and have to say I was pleasantly surprised! Pasta was incredible and the staff were friendly and attentive - server Alyssia was great! Definitely recommend for a night out
Our waitress (Jhaster) was so polite, sweet and easy to talk to. It was only our second time here and the lunch rush was about to start. Lunch is not as loud as dinner(as there are less people) but it’s still very steady for customers. If you prefer a social atmosphere but not super loud- go for lunch. (Dinner can be hard to talk/hear others as it’s super busy.) This time we had the “naked” mozzarella starter. It comes with a fresh(made in house) mozzarella ball, 6slices of focaccia bread, tomato jam(also made in house) and salt to accompany the dish. This was simply delicious! For entrees, I had the chicken Parmesan(noodles made in house) and the Italian burger. Both very tasty! We both left full! Thank-you again! We will be back for sure. :)
I had the pleasure of dining at Scaddabush Whitby recently, and I have to rave about the Balsamic Truffle Mozzarella Ball — hands down one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. It was fresh and creamy, with that rich truffle flavour balanced by a sweet balsamic drizzle that tied it all together. It’s the kind of dish you think about long after the meal is over. On top of that, the service from Tyler was exceptional. He was attentive without being overbearing, genuinely kind, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. He went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Tyler is a true professional and made us feel completely taken care of. If you’re heading to Scaddabush Whitby, do yourself a favour and order the mozzarella ball — and if you’re lucky enough to be served by Tyler, you’re in for a fantastic night!
Honestly so impressed. It was beautiful inside and didn’t even feel like I was in Whitby anymore. The server Kez was awesome - I brought my two kids and she encouraged me to take them to see the fresh mozzarella being made if they wanted to walk around! The kids loved the experience. The burger was soooo yummy and flavourful. The salad was delicious and flavourful. The Tuscan kale salad was top notch too!! Highly recommend.

We tried the Naked Mozzarella, which is an absolute must-try—fresh, creamy, and simply delightful! For the main course, we had the Chicken Parmesan, which was delicious and came in generous portions. The food was flavorful, and the presentation was spot on. Overall, great service, fantastic food, and a warm atmosphere. Highly recommend this place for a memorable dining experience. Celebrated our 3 year anniversary here last night, the food was amazing, service was excellent, definitely made for a night to remember! Shout out to our server RJ, he really sealed the deal for us. I highly recommend the chicken and shrimp main, but everything we tried was phenomenal.
